INVISTA Dibasic Ester (DBE) is a clear, colorless liquid. It is a mixture of refined dimethyl esters.
The primary refined ester product is designated DBE. It is fractionated into six other products: DBE-2, DBE-3, and DBE-9 are mixtures of two dimethyl ester components. DBE-4, DBE-5 and DBE-6 are refined dimethyl esters (succinate, glutarate and adipate, respectively). DBE-IB is the diisobutyl version of DBE.
